There have been a few changes at The Childcare Network. First, our newsletter is back. We really want to let you know what is happening, and we want to hear from you. Second, Eli Lopez Acevedo is no longer with us as the director. I came back to assist with the transition. While being semi-retired was good, I really missed the interactions with the early childhood professionals in our community. The good part was that I did get two new rescue Newfoundlands and a new grandbaby during the retirement! Finally, our Childcare Specialists and USDA food program monitors are still the same, so please contact them when you need assistance. Just call the office, and Cindy will get a message to them.

Below are the classes / workshops that we have available. Most are virtual (V), but a few are in-person (IP). You can register for the classes at: https://vachildcare.com/.

Remember, for the free first aid classes, if you are a no show, and do not contact us in advance that you are not attending, we reserve the option to not allow you to sign up for future classes. It may not affect you, but we have to pay our instructor. Also, child care programs are limited to 3 people attending per class, unless we have cancellations. Children are not allowed. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the instructor reserves the right to not allow you to stay.
